We’re currently seeking a skilled Production Artist with demonstrated experience and technical expertise in delivering high quality, press-ready files. The ideal candidate has a meticulous eye for detail and excels at working in a high volume, fast-paced agency environment.
Responsibilities
- Execute creative concepts across all direct response media channels
- Develop and prepare accurate press-ready mechanical files according to production specifications, manufacturing and postal requirements
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to understand campaign requirements and ensure technical specifications are met
- Translate designs across various formats and versions while maintaining the integrity of approved creative and brand standards
- Adhere to project timelines and manage a high volume of projects
- Maintain accurate, organized files according to department procedures
- Perform prepress duties including retouching, color correction, preflighting, archiving and create mock-ups
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in graphic design or related field
- 5+ years of agency experience in file preparation, direct mail print production and quality assurance
- Proficiency in the latest version of Adobe Creative Suite: InDesign, Photoshop, Acrobat and Illustrator
- Strong knowledge of design, layout and typography, and meticulous attention to detail
- Excellent communication, time management and organizational skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment
- Excels in prioritizing and managing a high volume of projects
- Experience working in GMC Inspire ― variable data printing a plus
