Quality Control Coordinator

We’re currently seeking a highly detail-oriented and organized individual to fill the position of Quality Control Coordinator. This individual will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy, precision, and overall quality of printed materials and direct mail campaigns. This position requires a keen eye for detail, excellent communications skills, and a deep understanding of printing processes and industry standards.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Conduct thorough inspections of printed materials to ensure they meet quality standards, including color accuracy, registration, and overall print quality
  • Collaborate with Production teams to identify and resolve any issues related to print quality and consistency
  • Work closely with machine operators to ensure equipment is properly calibrated and maintained for optimal performance
  • Maintain detailed records of quality control inspections, noting any deviations from established standards
  • Communicate regularly with production managers and other relevant stakeholders regarding quality control updates and issues
  • Collaborate with management to implement continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing overall quality and efficiency
  • Perform other duties as required

QUALIFICATIONS

  • High School Diploma/GED
  • 3 years of experience in quality control within the commercial printing and direct mail industry
  • In-depth knowledge of printing processes, color management, and industry standards
  • Excellent communication in English both written and verbal
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
