Warehouse Supervisor

GENERAL DESCRIPTION:

The Night Shift Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily warehouse operations, ensuring efficient inventory management, order fulfillment, and compliance with safety standards. This role involves supervising warehouse staff, coordinating shipments, and maintaining an organized and productive work environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES (including, but not limited to):

All lawful directives of your supervisor or a member of Company management.

• Oversee warehouse employees, including training, scheduling, and performance management
• Ensure adherence to company policies and safety procedures
• Motivate and coach staff to meet performance targets
• Monitor and manage inventory levels, ensuring accuracy and minimizing losses
• Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventories
• Coordinate with purchasing and sales teams to ensure timely stock replenishment
• Ensure timely and accurate receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods
• Verify shipment documentation and resolve discrepancies
• Optimize warehouse layout for efficient loading/unloading
• Enforce workplace safety policies and OSHA regulations
• Conduct safety training and inspections
• Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment
• Identify and implement process enhancements to improve efficiency
• Collaborate with other departments to improve supply chain operations

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor’s degree preferred)
• 3+ years of warehouse or logistics experience, with supervisory experience
• Strong leadership and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in inventory management systems and Microsoft Office
• Knowledge of OSHA safety regulations and best practices
• Able to work night shift
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and operate warehouse equipment (e.g., forklifts)
